Happy B'dae to the nation!

been enjoying the b'dae vibes
my kids made b'dae cards as cme activity
beautiful cards....
high sense of patriotism
they enjoyed it soo much

but me.... did a sample card to show them
bad..bad...example
i got the flag colours mixed up!!!!
...imagine tat....
(no comments on my part...)

i tried singing.... tried!
was singing tho...
till there came a high point in the song...
wer my voice jus cant reach
and i stopped singing
hehe...

we sang along to 'My Island Home'
nice song...
i was enjoying it till....
... i noticed one boy in class
teary-eyed
and soon.. tears were falling

went up to him..
realized tat he feels sad whenvr he hears tis song

i was taken aback. touched.
tat an 8 yr old boy gets teary eyed after listening
to a national song
guess the song touched him deep...

and Harith, u made my day...

was on the way back from dinner
when hubby noticed a millipede on the ground
showed it to afiq... who.. as always
gets sooo excited..
as i watched father & son 'making friends' with mr. milli...
suddenly...

last friday, Roslinda and i conducted a lesson on bunga rampai
yep. its true
a practical lesson wher students learn to make bunga rampai

the day before, i made a rush down to pasar geylang
like some makcik, buying bunga rampai lah, flowers lah, daun pandan...

well anyway, the lesson was a success
the kids were making the bunga rampai containers, made out of
recycled drink boxes and spices

actuali this lesson was done to integrate wif our school's spice garden
apparently all spices used can be found in our garden

i was amazed by the kids responses
they were all so excited
and for once..
my super hyper student, Syakeer...
was soo focused in doing his craft
tat not a sound came out from him

and the final products.... superb!
juz look at the pixs

juz looking at the kids engrossed in doing these crafts..
i realized tat
it takes so little to brighten up a little one's day

no parallel teaching.

especially after eating kuey teow
and vitasoy.
gd combination to gain more pounds rite

cant wait for the day to end
go shopping, i think

hvnt got a thing to wear for tmrw
wanted to wear baju kurung. easy. simple. no mess
but somehow, a baju kurung doesnt go too well
wif the gown

if cannot find anything appropriate
back to basics then.

experience wif a bad sales person
im sure tat all of u hv a fair share of this kind of experience

well.. yesterday... hub and me dcided to look look and see see
for a tv cabinet.
hv nothing in mind so we juz walked and looked arnd

we went into this big shop and started walking arnd
looking at all the exhibits
wen suddenly... out of nowhere
appeared this sales staff behind us.

'can i help? wat u looking for?'
'err.... we're just looking arnd. thnx for the offer'
'no lah... u tell me then i show you the catalog. u don hv to look arnd...'
'its ok. we WANT to look arnd'

we kept on walking, he bhind us... like a 'loyal srvant'
after quite sometime, think he got the drift tat we were looking for tv cabinets

he started his promotions..
'tis one gd, cheap only...'
'got differnt colours'
'import from overseas'
...and blah blah bla..

truthfully we were not intrested.
its expensive and not to our taste.

so we didnt bother to layan him.

then all of a sudden he said
'why you look so stress like tat'
'come i show u cheaper one'

wat the heck?!
who's stressed???

'ahh... tis one cheaper. 399 only.
u take tis set ah..
first come first serve'

frankly tis guy was getting on our nerves
we were soo put off by him

hub then said 'nvrmind ar.... we look elsewer'
and the stinky sales staff said 'yah.. ok lor. can tell'
then he stormed off.

wat the $%^ !!
'can tell'??
who does he think he is?
wat CAN he tell?

he's only intrested in sales!!
dumb ass.
(and to think tat he wore a smiley badge)

school. its been a week...
while evryone's busy or starting to feel the stress in sch...
.... let me tell u....

my week in school is sooo.... boring
boring.
well at least till end July
till Adib goes to NIE
THEN
i'll take over all his classes.
and that will put in floating session.

for now.... the timetable states that i'm doing parallel teaching
gng into the other ckgs classes and take the weaker students out and do
a tuition session wif them in the lib or malay rm.

but im only dng it for the p3s and p6s
and its not even everyday

i mean.. im not complaining. but i juz wish im more active.
i cant sit still!!

dilemma's back agn

tis time, i signed up for the NE show on the 15th
only to realize later tat it coincides wif my darling cousin's engagement

and u guessed it rite..
... the engagement will be held at my place.
aaaarrrghhh!!!
